Expedition Rangers Costume Party
The gathering of many seemed to have lessened by a lot. There weren’t as many camps and activities that allowed the different outposts to mingle. For that reason, the Expedition Rangers of Selangor #7 decided that we’ll throw our own party, where the main purpose was to socialize.
So, on the 28th of February, The ERs from Sel #1 and Sel #7 met up in the Youth House. Unfortunately, all the other Outposts had their own plans and were unable to make it. But anyhow, all those who came, showed up in costumes; with the theme being TV or Movie characters.
The night opened with an ice-breaker, which required all of them to find their other-halves once they have been labeled. The couples consist of those such as Ironman & Pepper Potts, Serena Vanderwoodsen & Dan Humphrey, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Terence & De… Just kidding. But you get my drift.
Next up… Food, glorious food! Everything was cooked by our very own Rangers and it was lip-smackingly delicious.
To be in-line with the theme of the night, all the games were taken from Whose Line Is It Anyway? You can only imagine the havoc that churned out of that, especially when they were given scenes such as “You need to pangsai in Survival Camp, but you have no tissue paper and the only plants around you are poison ivy.” (That was Commander Jeff Goh’s idea, by the way.)
Needless to say, it was an absolutely enjoyable evening. Our mission was accomplished.
