Junior Training Camp
Last June, more than 20 rangers (AR & ER) from Selangor 7 had the opportunity to participate in the first ever Junior Training Camp (JTC) held in Malaysia.
We salute these graduates for undergoing a series of classes, tests and meeting deadlines throughout the four days. They were made to set up camp with patrol members from other outposts, thus making new friends and working with people they do not know. They learnt a whole lot of outdoor skills taught by commanders who faithfully volunteered their time for this camp.
This bunch of 80 candidates also had the opportunity to learn the art of Dutch Oven cooking, a technique using a cast iron pot – to cook scrumptious meals such as pork stew, bubur cha cha and even banana crumble. Fantastic.
More importantly, were the lives changed and the lessons learnt. We pray and hope that months after this camp their lives will continually be transformed, and they’ll be like Joseph, faithful in all their ways.

Congratulations Guys and Gals! You’ll really worked hard and you really deserve to wear the beret.
